Description
Bath is the largest city in the county of Somerset, England, known for and named after its Roman-built baths. The city is in the valley of the River Avon, It became a World Heritage site in 1987. Pulteney Bridge at the back crosses the River Avon It was designed by Robert Adam in a Palladian style and completed by 1774. One of the most photographed examples of Georgian architecture in the city and one of only four bridges in the world to have shops across its full span on both sides.
